Research Institute of Nuclear Power Operation (RINPO), located in Wuhan city of
Hubei Province, set up in 1982, subordinated to China National Nuclear Corporation
(CNNC), is the sole scientific organization dedicated to nuclear power operational
research and technical services in the mainland of China.
RINPO is leading the technical front in China among the following fields:
*Steam generator design, research and maintenance
*In-service inspection of nuclear power plant
*Simulation engineering of nuclear power plant
And a very active role is played in the following fields:
*Research and assessment of nuclear power plant operation
*Emergency technical support
In recent years, RINPO has provided for many times pre-service/in-service inspec
-tions
inspections and other services for Qinshan Ⅰ , Qinshan Ⅱ , Qinshan Ⅲ , Daya
Bay, Lingao, Tianwan, CHASHMA, and KARACHI Nuclear Power Plants. The quality ser
-vices and high efficiency are recognized by the Utilities. RINPO has established rerel
-ationship with more than 32 countries and international organizations.
Rinpo organizes its staff and workers ' team in suitable combination with personal
age and knowledge as well as fruitful experience. Among the total 300 employees, th
-e technical staff is 77 percent. RINPO has set up three important research laboratori
-es
with specific study ability, certified by the accreditation of ISO9001quality system
and authorized by the Government as the organization with right of import/export tra
-ding
so as to form the stable bases for further innovation and development.
In recent years, RINPO has won 144 scientific and technological awards including
State Special Award, State Scientific Conference Awards, and Ministerial-level Awards.
With the synchronous rise on economic and social benefits, RINPO has been named "
Contract-First and Good Credit Standing Unit of Technological Trading " , " Civilized Un
-it of Hubei Province " , and " The Best Civilized Unit of Hubei Province " multiple times.
Facing the new century with new goals, RINPO is to make its best efforts to build
itself as a national nuclear power technical services base which can meet the needs
of national nuclear power development in “ the 10th Five Years Plan ” Period. |
