Nuclear In-service Inspection Center (NISIC), established in 1978, is a technical service organization being independently and completely engaged in the Pre-service Inspection (PSI) and In-service Inspection (ISI) for nuclear facilities and nuclear power plants.
　　In order to meet the requirements of development and research of NDT technology as well as site examination activities, NISIC established the sole various laboratories and movable work stations which are related to study and inspection activities of UT, ET, RT, PT, MT, VT, LT, and so on. Many NDT equipments and tools are imported or developed by NISIC which could reach the needs of research and developments. 　　Some of them have the advanced level internationally. NISIC has, with experienced and well-trained staff, holding more than 200 NDT certificates (including 23 level Ⅲ certificates), using many full-scale mock-ups, test blocks and standards, integrative capability to provide NDT services satisfying requirements of multi-codes at home and abroad. NISIC has obtained 《 Certificate of Laboratory Accreditation 》 granted by China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories (CNACL) since 1998.
　　In addition to the Pre and In-Service Inspections (PSI/ISI) quality implemented for Qinshan Ⅰ , Ⅱ , Daya Bay, Lingao and CHASHMA NPPs, NISIC performs the NDT for various non-nuclear pressure vessel, components and materials which are used in power, metallurgical, chemical, engineering, transportation and other industries. Specific NDT techniques will be carefully studied and developed in order to meet the client's special requirements.
